The strictly correct use of "CEDAW" refers to the committee; however, in this publication, we refer to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women in several ways: as "CEDAW," "the Women's Convention," and "the Convention." We refer to the monitoring committee as "the CEDAW Committee" or "the Committee".
