Vertical spelling

Objective:
· To reinforce a person's ability to spell and recall words.

Target Group:
· Students at all levels

Directions:
· One of the acronyms HIV, AIDS, ARC are written twice on the blackboard. Participants are divided into two teams. One member from each team must race to the blackboard and write, vertically, the words that each letter of the acronym stands for. Other team members may help with the words and spelling. The team which first spells all of the words correctly is the winner.
