About the Author

Roberta Clarke is a practising attorney-at-law based in Trinidad and Tobago. Since 1989, she has worked as Project Coordinator for the Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action on its “Women and the Law” and “Gender and Human Rights” programmes. She is currently a Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of Women, Law and Development International based in Washington, D.C.
