control. The course is suitable for the staff of health ministries, regional or
local health departments, national or international disease control agencies,
international aid organizations, and research institutes.
Students May concentrate on geographical regions, including
Europe, or on individual countries. They May also develop specific expertise in
the control of particular infectious diseases. Students will have the
opportunity of studying an intervention programme with up to two months spent in
a suitable location overseas or in the UK.
