at one time we were using frames to hold gs2.xx the content in joomla 1.xx..... hardly an ideal solution... integrating 2.xx is a bear, gs3 is probably going to end up making you happier at an integration level... it's way better suited to the internet in general. Let me know what you're working on - it would be fun to see that come together...
