[greenstone-users] why my gli freeze whenever I open a collection?

I installed greenstone 2.52 on my tablet pc running windows xp. I have no problem of accessing the demo collection as long as I change the url to "localhost.xxx.xxx". I can start the greenstone librarian interface without any problem too, and I can browse the content of the collections at the workspace panel. However, when I try to open a collection such as the demo collection, the system first put the content of the collection at the collection panel, then it just freezes there. None of the buttons of GLI works anymore. I checked java versions, they are all 1.4 or later. Did I do something wrong? Any suggestion is really appreciated. Thanks a lot, Daqing
