Dear Ms Celine,

If your doubt is about importing a greenstone collection from a cd-rom to the greenstone software installed in your computer, the mechanism is to open the collect folder in the cd-rom and copy the folder containing all the files for the particular collection (say new) , into the collect folder(.../greenstone/collect/) in your computer in which greenstone is installed.
That means all the files needed for running the greenstone collection is there in the folder for each collection (say new, sample etc) in the collect folder.
There will be only three folders for each collection and they are etc, images and index. As well you need to make it publicly available by opening the format tab and marking the appropriate check box.Otherwise it may not be visible in the homepage.
You cannot build the copied collection further, but you can use the collection from your computer or network.
