Dear Renate,

The CDS-ISS to Greenstone guide
explains in section 4 that the explode function
and the subsequent build are unlikely to work in
GLI for more than about 15,000 records.
Instructions on exploding and building with the
command line are given. Please do check that your
32k+ record database can be constructed in this
way. Programming GLI to handle the large amount
of metadata involved would be a major task, it
would be interesting to learn whether other users
on this list feel that something more should be
done in this sense. Thanks and best regards, John
