Hi.
I have downloaded and instqalled GS 2.70 onto my Redhat AS3 system. I
built the applet as described earlier on this list. I have created one
user and put the account in the remote-superuser group. the collect
directory is world writeable. I have loaded the example collections and
only built the wrdpdf-e collection from the command line.
When I run the GLI applet, I select Open from the file menu. I am
prompted for the authentication information and enter it properly. The
following error message appears:
An error has occurred on the remote Greenstone server while performing
the following operation:
Java failed: java -classpath
"/usr/local/gsdl270/gsdl/bin/java/GLIServer.jar"
org.greenstone.gatherer.remote.ZipCollectionConfigurations
"/usr/local/gsdl270/gsdl/collect/username-collection-configurations.zip"
"/usr/local/gsdl270/gsdl/collect"
The permissions on the jar files in gsdl/bin/java are set 644.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this may be happening ?
Thanks very much.
