I have read the documentation on using the MetadataXML plugin (formerly
RecPlug), and I've written a script to create a metadata.xml file out of our
unformatted metadata. This metadata.xml file validates against the DTD, but if
I copy it into the "import" folder with my documents then run the GLI, an error
flashes up: "Could not parse metadata.xml", and then within the GLI and the
library, none of the metadata appears.

Am I doing something wrong in terms of getting Greenstone to see the
metadata.xml file?
