Hi,

From my experience, I deal with this problem by writing a simple Window Form Application (C#) with a textbox (simple textbox is good enough). You use StreamReader and StreamWriter to load and save data - in a string object. You shouldn't use the existing method like RichTextBox::LoadFile() or RichTextBox::SaveFile() to perform these works.

Hope this helps,

I use notepad to edit the content of the file metadata.xml and save it with format ?UTF-8?. After that, I use command line to build collection. When I import my documents, an error dialog appears ? perl.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience?. When I save my metadata.xml file with format  ?ANSI?,it?s OK ! Because my mother language is Vietnamese, so I have to build the file metadata.xml with format ?UTF-8? to show Vietnamese characters. Can you help me?

Best regards
