Subject | [greenstone-users] Formatting images with small print |
Good Morning:
I’m wondering if anyone has had success with a certain format when loading images with small print so that the print will be readable either on screen or when printed out? I’m loading scanned images of old newsprint from microfilm. My originals are 8 ½ x 11”, scanned into the computer and saved as high quality JPEG images with 600 max. pixels across the long dimension. This works fine as far as headlines and ads are concerned, but the text of the articles on the page is not readable. How might I make this small print more clear on screen?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
