Subject [greenstone-devel] Greenstone v2.51 released!
Hello everyone,

The Windows/Linux/Source distributions of Greenstone v2.51 are now
available for download from our sourceforge page:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenstone, or via
http://www.greenstone.org

This release is primarily a "stabilising" release, with many many
improvements and bug fixes. However, it also contains some new
functionality: new LaTeX and MP3 plugins, collection-specific
macrofiles, the ability to do string comparisons ("eq" and "ne") in {If}
statements, and "I'm feeling lucky" functionality (like Google). It also
contains an upgraded version of pdftohtml for better PDF processing.

For this release we will be creating "upgrades" from Greenstone v2.50
(available next week). These will allow you to download a small package
containing all the changes from 2.50 to 2.51, and upgrade an existing
Greenstone v2.50 installation to v2.51. We hope this will make it a bit
easier to keep up with the latest version of Greenstone.

We want to ensure that this software works well for you. Please report
any problems to greenstone@cs.waikato.ac.nz, or on one of the mailing
lists.

All the best,

Michael
On behalf of the Greenstone team

PS Look out for a new version of the Greenstone Language Pack
(containing many new languages) soon!
