I think it might be difficult to have a standard greenstone self
installing cd which serves the collection off the cd, across multiple cds.
I don't know if the installer could cope with having files on different
cds, and once it is installed, the index files need to be in a
particular place.
But it may work if you create the cd contents and use some cd writing
software to span multiple cds (is this available?). then when the user
got it, they'd need to copy all the contents onto their hard drive (or
you could write an installer to do this??). Once its all in one place on
the hard drive, then they can run the installer.
