Hi Ruben,

A rather important point that I'd forgotten to mention in the
documentation is that this requires the Java run-time to be installed on
the server. I've added this now:

http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/west-yorkshire/remote-greenstone.html

I've also updated the gliserver.pl script to have a new command:
"check-installation". This will attempt to run Java and tell you if it
doesn't work. Step 4 of the server installation documentation has been
updated to run this during installation, so you'll discover any problems
then and not when you start using the client. You can download the new
version of gliserver.pl from:

http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/west-yorkshire/gliserver.pl

and replace your existing gliserver.pl in the Greenstone "cgi-bin"
directory. (Don't forget to add your full Perl path into the first line
again).

Thanks for reporting these problems -- it all helps to improve a new bit
of code.

Regards,

Michael
