I assume you are using the remote building functionality

I'm not sure what is causing your problems. Were there any error
messages or exceptions shown in the DOS prompt when the problems
occurred? This is the first thing you should check if you have any problems.

The GLI stores its settings (and the collections when using the remote
building code) in C:Documents and Settings<Your username>Application
DataGreenstoneGLI, so try deleting this folder. This should fix the
collection problems you've had even after re-installation.
