The METS plugin only processes Greenstone METS. Please see
for a bit more information.
If you want to process your own kind of METS, you'll need to convert it
to our kind. If you are interested in trying the option suggested on the
wiki page (using METSPlug with an xslt) I'd be keen to make sure this
works. If it doesn't work as suggested, then you could send me
(off-list) a couple of your METS documents and the xslt and I'll take a
look at it.
