That looks fine.
One thing I forgot to ask in the last email was how are you processing
your PDF documents? This will only work if you have converted to images.
If you are converting to html then it won't work, as there won't be an
image for the first page, and also you may not even have sections.
You can check in the archive files (greenstone/collect/xxx/archives)
what metadata you have.
Another way of doing this would be to manually save the first page of
the PDF as a JPEG image, give it the same name as the document, and use
the cover image mechanism.
E.g. for book1.pdf you'd save an image as book1.jpg. This would get
associated with the PDF file as a cover image (cover.jpg). The
[DocImage] format element is a link to the cover image.
So you could use eg
[srclink]<img src="[DocImage]" height="40"/>[/srclink]
