Hi,
which version of greenstone is this? Recent versions should not have
any problems with accents in filenames. If you are using 2.70 or 2.70w,
could you please give us an example filename, metadata.xml file, and tell
us which encoding you are using for the filename and in the .xml file?

Thanks
