The directory structure for Mac applications allows you to have multiple
binaries for different architectures in them, so it would be possible to
have just 1 distribution that has binaries for both intel and powerpc.

I don't have access to a mac, so I can't tell you the exact details (I
don't remember them exactly off the top of my head).

For now I think osx intel users will have to compile from source, unless
a technical mac user can make some binaries for everyone and put them
up somewhere.
