This should work. Please check the metadata files in your import
directory (greenstone/collect/collname/import) and see whether the
metadata names are in english or french (they should be english).
In the next release, there will be a new option for importing which will
allow you to specify which metadata field to use for the identifiers, so
you will be able to use ex.Identifier.
The standard url to a document is <path to library
If the document stays in the same collection, and the library address
dosn't change, and you have assigned an id, then this url should be
