I had the same problem... So I've changed "cgi-bin/library/gliserver"
to "cgi-bin/library/" and although it stops the error I was
getting previously, I now get a new one when I try to create or open a

"An error has occurred on the remote Greenstone Server while performing
this operation:

Java failed: java -classpath
"/home/dev/html/gsdl/collect" "

After this, if I close the GLI and start it up again, the preferences
revert to "cgi-bin/library/gliserver" and I need to change it back to
.pl again.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks, Jon

Hi Ya'll,
to follow up - the gliserver preferences in the applet must correctly
point to "cgi-bin/library/" in my case, and not
"cgi-bin/library/gliserver" silly error on my part, great software,
runnin' smoothly now :)
