Hi - having a go with the dbplug on a csv
the import process looks nice, and here's the readout i'm getting not to far
- could be that the files are jpg?
DBPlug: processing example.dbi
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): connected ok
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'File' to Filename
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Artist' to Creator
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Title' to Title
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Publisher' to Publisher
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Format' to Format
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Description' to Description
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): mapping db field 'Keywords' to text
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): retrieved a row from query
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): retrieved a row from query
....
import.pl> DBPlug: imported 492 DB records as documents.
thinking that since the metadata is in dc.XXX format perhaps adding dc. to
the .dbi file i get this
import.pl> DBPlug: processing example.dbi
import.pl> DBPlug: skipping statement ` %db_to_greenstone_fields=( "File"
=> "Filename", "Artist" => "dc.Creator", "Title" => "dc.Title", "Publisher"
=> "dc.Publisher", "Date" => "dc.Date", "Format" => "dc.Format",
"Description" => "dc.Description", "Keywords" => "text" ); '
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): connected ok
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): retrieved a row from query
import.pl> DBPlug (debug): retrieved a row from query
....
import.pl> DBPlug: imported 492 DB records as documents.
either way nothing gets imported into the gli -
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Anson
