Subject [greenstone-devel] Greenstone and cygwin
This is a resent of a previous email which prompted discussion re from
address. [see below signature]


A year ago I installed Greenstone 2.39-win32 under Windows 2000 and cygwin.
At the time it made a mess of my cygwin installation. Duplicated parts of
cygwin in a different directory tree. I did clean it up, but it was a lot of

I would like to install greenstone 2.50, but I would like to avoid the
issues I had previously.
I went through the setup, but did not find a way to install in an existing
cygwin installation.

I may have missed something.

Do you have a suggestion?

You should be able to set the From address or the Reply-To address
in your email program to be bram@van.... otherwise you can subscribe with
your temporary address as well, and when it stops working, the mailman
list software should notice that and automatically unsubscribe any address
that it can't deliver email to.
