after a year away I have returned to my collection at http://www.governance.usp.ac.fj/nav/digital_library/ to find that the collection has been moved from the old windows/IIS server to a new redhat linux server. i previously built collections via remote desktop to the server, but because the new one does not have a GUI, I have set up the GLI client to manage the collection remotely via the librarian interface. unfortunately it no longer recognises my password, and removing the users.db file results in the server claiming the admin user does not exist.

how can i regain access to the collection? why does moving the users.db file not work in this case?
