Subject [greenstone-users] changing configuration
up til now, i have been accessing the localhost url to see my
developments in greentsone. soon, i will be porting it to our server.
of course, i would like to test that on my local machine first. my
palan was to copy the whole gsdl directory (because i recompiled the
source code in my local machine), and then just change the config
files. do you think this will work? or do i have to recompile in the
server machine? if this would work...

would anyone know how to change the access url of the library? i've
tried to edit my httpd.conf file and the gsdlsite.cfg, but it's not

could anyone help me out? it'd be greatly appreciated. :)

some snippets:

# points to the GSDLHOME directory
gsdlhome /usr/local/gsdl

# this is the http address of GSDLHOME
# if your webservers DocumentRoot is set to $GSDLHOME
# then httpprefix can remain commented out
httpprefix http://pundit.pregi.net/gsdl

# this is the http address of the directory which
# contains the images for the interface.
# if your webservers DocumentRoot is set to $GSDLHOME
# then httpimg will be /images
httpimg http://pundit.pregi.net/gsdl/images
