Starting with Greenstone v2.40, only English, French, Spanish and Russian
interfaces come with the main distributions. The other 15 language interfaces
(including Portuguese, although it may be somewhat out-of-date) are available
as a separate package, downloadable from:
Choose the appropriate package (Windows or Unix), download and run.
Regarding your second question, I'm afraid I don't know what the best
solution would be. The simplest solution is to create a new classifier for
each language (for each hierarchy), but this is probably not ideal (you would
have six classifiers on each page). Hopefully someone else on the list will
be able to give some advice.
