Hello Emiliano,

I'll do my best to answer your "two or three" questions :-)

I'm not sure I entirely understand the problem... are you talking about allowing the user
to do this when they are browsing a built Greenstone collection? Or when they are
creating a Greenstone collection using the GLI?

Unfortunately this is a limitation of Greenstone's format statements. It is on our "to
do" list, and also on Stephen De Gabrielle's (who may get to it before we do!).

Greenstone offers "stemming", but not wildcard matching. You can turn stemming on by
going to the Preferences page and looking at the "word endings" option.

I'm not sure when version 2.41 will be released, but I don't think it will be for at
least a month or two. You can get the most up-to-date source code (including these
changes) by getting Greenstone from CVS, however.

I'm afraid I haven't even heard of Zope or Plone, so I can't help you with this one
sorry. Hopefully someone else on the list will have some thoughts.

Sorry I didn't have anything positive to say!
