Subject | [greenstone-users] globally editing metadata across all records |
Hi,
Is it possible to globally edit the metadata across all records? For example, if I wish to change every occurrence of the dc.Subject 'Gaelway' to 'Galway', can I do it without changing each record individually? Also, I wish to sort subjects alphabetically. Each document has multiple subjects and I want these to appear in alphabetical order whenever the record is viewed. In the archives folder, there is a doc.xml file for each image in my collection. I have also found a file with a .gdb extension in the index\text subfolders of my collection folder. Can these files be edited, or is there an easier way?
Regards, John
