Solaris make install error

Subject Solaris make install error
Hi all,

I'm getting very close to getting Greenstone 2.38 on Solaris 8
compiled.....have had a few bumps that I was able to work around but
here's the latest. I'm logged in and running as root.
install-sh (referenced below) isn't executable but I may be
misreading the statement....has anyone run into this problem?
