Hi,
In the past, Greenstone used the Lovins stemmer (based a 1968 paper by
Lovins), which is very much English-only. It looks like the code has been
updated fairly recently to allow other stemmers, but only French and
English are available.
>From what I can tell, adding a new stemmer means first writing/finding a
stemmer, then doing some coding on Greenstone to add it as an option.
