I have been testing the Greenstone remote collection building
features to use it in classes where groups of students must collaborate.

We have installed gsdl v 2.70w on a linux server using Michael
Dewsnip's instructions at

remote-greenstone.html
tested it with several client machines; remote collection building
was working.

We have upgraded to gsdl v 2.71 and we are now having problems with
remote building.
We made the same standard installation and tested it with the version
2.71 client.
When trying to create a remote collection we always get
Authentication failed: user is not in the required group

This happens no matter what the group configuration has been set: we
tried "remote-superuser" and several combinations of "admin",
"colbuilder", "remote-collection-builder".

Has anyone solve a similar problem?
