Subject [greenstone-users] Adding data to images
Hi Everyone,

After having no luck in finding an answer in the list serv archives on
this particular problem, I am hoping that someone might have an idea or
suggestion about how to resolve this issue.

We are in the midst of building a digital image collection of our
photographs. We hope this will provide access to our photograph
collection as well as to enhance the preservation of these images.

My question is, if there is a way to display information with the image
after you click on the thumbnail? In other words, when a user clicks on
the thumbnail they are directed to another "page" - a larger view of the
image. Is there a way to have selected metadata displayed on the same
page? Based on the size of the images, it appears that there is "room" to
have some text on that page, and we think it would be convenient for the
user to see some information right next to it instead of having to go back
to the previous page. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
