hi, After following instructions for running GLI as applet from http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/west-yorkshire/remote-greenstone.html I got following error when I tried to run GLI from the browser. error (displayed in status bar of IE 6.0) : applet gatherer notinited loading java applet failed further, When I tried to run check-installation cmd for Java, the contents of gliserver.pl file was displayed as plain text. Not Java Found/ not found message was displayed. I have appended E:gsdlnewbinwindowsperlbin to gliserver.pl file, is this okay. More info Windows 2000 with IIS gsdl ver 2.70 What could be the problem or had I missed something? -Sharad
