Subject [greenstone-users] Problems compiling on OpenSuse 11.2
I am having some issues compiling Greenstone 2.83 on OpenSuse 11.2.
I get an error when running ./configure which I tracked down configuring wv/wv-gs
When I run ./configure in that directory, I get this specific error:
checking for GLIB... no
configure: error: No package 'glib-2.0' found
It sounds to me like glib-2.0 is not installed. But when I check yast (the package manager), it is installed, but with a different name 'glib2'. glib2 is installed and up-to-date.

When I try to make wv-gs, I get this error
making all in wv/wv-gs
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/jclark/ltgreenstone/build-src/packages/wv/wv-gs'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop.
I suspect that this error is due to the failed ./configure. I can't seem to figure out why wv-gs will not compile even though the program it needs (glib2) is installed.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me, please?

Thank you,
Jay Clark
