Subject [greenstone-users] re buffer overrun
Hi Jens,
Well, some saga that was! Thanks for sharing all that toing and froing
with me! And the ever-helpful team was doing its best. Anyway, I found
a solution but its a very untechnical one and it does not leave us with
any explanations at all, I suspect. Since I had only 9 docs in there at
the time (I've now added another 6) I simply created a new Thai
collection, transferred the 6 files from the previous one, deleted that
and went ahead. Voila! It built! (or does none say builded in this
case?). Could it have been the my machine had a small glitch? I was
having another problem with the syslog file filling up and having to
empty it out (resolved that now) and obviously that was slowing the
machine down, but I couldn't say that this influenced the buffer overrun
problem - and the new collection was made while I was still having the
syslog problem anyway.
Thanks for helping,
