Subject | [greenstone-users] OnlineDE |
Hi,
for our bibliographical project, we've been (till now) using Greenstone only for web search/delivering of our Isis db. Now we'd like to move to direct online data entry, using GLI as java applet. I'd like to know whether anyone has taken/is taking/wonders about taking the same step. At first glance it seems quite unconvenient to (minimal) rebuild the collection to see new records (or changes in the old ones)... Anyway, I tried to create my first "greenstone-native" records, and I meet 2 difficulties: 1) While editing a new "dummy document", it sometimes (not always!) happens, when moving from one field to the following, that an "About to add folder level metadata" dialog box is activated. If I choose "Cancel", the actual content of the selected field is erased. It seems there is no way to re-fill the field, avoiding presentation of the box, and consequent re-erasure of the value...
2) I can't find out the repeat-field command. Thank you for any help,
