Subject | [greenstone-users] hyperlinks for mutiple metadata values : immediate shutdown of Greenstone server |
Has anybody succesfully implemented the instructions found on the page
http://greenstone.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Customizing_collections in the section "How can I hyperlink individual metadata elements ?" I have followed all instructions, i.e. the second set by Katherine Don - as these are more recent and apply to v.2.72 which I'm using on Windows . I get a nice display of all metadata values as a link, but the URL created within these links causes my local GSDL server immediately to shutdown ! Of course no result page then can be seen (using Firefox). Here is an example of a URL created : "http://192.168.2.123:1025/gsdl?e=d-010-00-lorinasp--00-1--0--0prompt-11---6-------0-1l--11-en-50---20-about---00-3-1-00-0011-1-0utfZz-8-00&a=q&q=MEERU&h=LE&t=0" where 'MEERU' is the metadata value which is indexed in the index LE of the collection 'lorinasp' and the idea is indeed to retrieve all documents which have this metadata. So the URL seems o.k. No logging of the problem can be found in the Greenstone folder even when logging is on. Any ideas or suggestions ? Egbert (INASP) |
