Hi Kerim,

[Note to Greenstone developers: Has the compile-from-source option
been tested with the gsdl-2.80 unix package? I think the "indexers"
module has been left out of it]

It looks like there's a problem with the download you tried to
install. The Install.sh script should work roughly as follows.

1. Test if your system is running linux.

2. If running linux, offer to either install static binaries or to
compile from source. If not running linux just go ahead and compile
from source.

In your case the script doesn't appear to have given the option of
installing binaries, so I presume you're running BSD or Solaris or
some other non-linux form of unix (or that the Install.sh script has
a bug in it).

That's fine, you're probably best to compile from source anyway.
Unfortunately it fails to compile though, as the install package is
missing the necessary "indexers" source page.

In any case, your best bet is probably to install and compile from
SVN, as you first tried. Can you send more details of what went wrong
when you tried that option?
