ANNEX 4: WORLD WIDE FUND FOR NATURE’S GLOBAL 200

According to World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), “the Global 200 is a representation of some of the world’s most outstanding and distinctive ecoregions. They have been identified through a comprehensive assessment of the world’s biodiversity. A vast majority of all threatened animal and plant varieties depend on the Global 200 ecoregions for their very existence. Together these ecoregions form the ‘Web of Life’“.
