Fern sporange

Lesson: Fougs

Rationale: Show fern sporanges with a microscope.

Materials:

fern
needle
water
microscope
slide/coverslip

Procedure:

1. Place one drop of water on a slide.
2. With the tip of a needle, scrape some sporanges into the drop.
3. Cover. Sporanges are visible at 100x.
