Lesson: Organisation grale d'une plante lours
Rationale: Grow peanuts without soil to show extensive root systems.
Materials:
peanuts
bowl
cloth
plastic/rubber band
Procedure:
Start two weeks in advance.
1. Soak peanuts overnight in just enough water to cover the
seeds.
2. Line bottom of bowl with cloth.
3. Thoroughly soak the cloth
with water.
4. Add peanuts and cover with plastic.
5. Let germinate and
grow in dark for 10-12 days.
6. Keep the cloth moist.
