The Author:
Dipl.-Ing. Peter Lwas born in 1951. Studied engineering in Aachen and development economics in Paris. Research work for the Federal Ministry of Cooperation. From 1979 to 1982 GATE’s responsable for French speaking Africa. Now working as a consultant and research fellow in ethnology and history of technology.
