The SIA process is based on the steps in the EIA process as outlined below. It should contain the 10 steps described in Figure 9.8. These steps are logically sequential, but often overlap in practice. This sequence is patterned after the EIA steps as listed in the Council for Environmental Quality (CEQ) guidelines.
