9. The Project Implementation Main Results. Proposals on Further Activity Development

The Project’s Group of Experts considers that the main result is design of the Education and Methodology Package for self-evaluation of primary vocational education institutions activity. The development of the EMP was preceded by preparation of important analytical materials on the sector management quality study and modern approaches to self-evaluation methodology.

Practical value of the implemented activity we associate with realized chance to meet needs of vocational schools and lyceums in methodology and organization of their activity self-evaluation taking into account new requirements to these education institutions. This conclusion was made on results of the EMP pilot testing, materials of the workshops and round tables participated by about 100 people.

To our mind this Project can be developed by design of indicators system for external attestation of vocational education institutions taking into account the new social and economy situation and the outcomes of this study. This activity can be implemented in cooperation with education sector departments, employers associations and vocational education institutions. Besides heads and teachers of vocational education institutions shoe much interest in development of additional package of methodology guidebook for analysis and evaluation of such components as education programs, quality of teaching, students’ services, financing etc.
