7. Proposals for an International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education in Bonn

The Committee appreciates and supports this offer and initiative and especially welcomed the idea of a Centre co-supported by ILO, The World Bank and other partners in TVET. The hope was expressed that this would be a true International Centre and that the short-term attachment of persons from UNEVOC Centres around the world would be facilitated.

It was felt that further discussions and meetings were required before the proposal could be finalised. Meetings with potential donors would also have to be held.
