Module 2 Things you need to know

This module indicates the kinds of business information to which participants will be exposed during the course.

During this module they should begin to be aware of what they need to know to be successful in a small business.

The following interview should tell you the chosen business person's pattern of learning.

Resources

Audiotape: Provide an audiotape interview.

Interview at least one person who has made a success of a small business enterprise. Ask:

· What is your business?
· What did you have to learn before you could start your business?
· How did you learn those things - or who from?
· What was the most important information?
