This comparative study sets out the current situation and possible future trends of technical and vocational education in twenty-three countries.

It is based on reports submitted by those countries to an international conference held in Denver, Colorado, United States, in 1976. In addition to providing an outline of the present status of technical and vocational education in those countries, the study stresses ongoing reforms and innovations in that field.

It is aimed particularly at teacher-educators, educational administrators and educational planners.
