1.0	Alcohol	What alcohol is. Physical properties of methanol, ethanol, propanol etc. Different preparation methods of alcoholic beverages. Raw materials with reference to local brews, beers, wines, waragi and other spirits.

1.1.	Types of Alcohol	Beverage and non-beverage alcohol, non-beverage alcohol. Beverage alcohol classified as wines, beers and spirits. Alcohol proof and concentration in beers, wines, tonto, malwa and waragi.

1.2	Uses:	Non-beverage used in the preparation of foods e.g. vanilla; preparation of medicines, lotions, solvents, antifreezer in car radiators, etc.
