I don't know anything about the windows scripting stuff. Maybe Chi does,
I'll ask her if she knows what this could be when she comes back from
holiday.

In the meantime, perhaps you could add another PPTPlug into the plugin
list (below the first one) to catch any that are rejected by the first
one. Set the second plugin to convert to html.
You'll have to edit the config file manually to add the second plugin in
- GLI won't let you add the same plugin twice apart from UnknownPlug.
